Description
The gloriously talented MERRY HELL BAND return to Heswall in November 2026 by way of a WIRRAL ACOUSTIC CONCERTS promotion, the organisers of which are John & Angela Owen of the Hungry Horse Acoustic Folk Club, Ellesmere Port. Here is a short pen picture of the band:
They are - Virginia Kettle and her husband John Kettle. Andrew and Bob Kettle, Colin Foster, Lee Goulding, Andy Jones & Simon Swarbrick. Their origin is Wigan, Lancashire and they have been active on the folk rock music scene since 20210. Previously known as The Tansads.
Merry Hell are an award winning band that offer joyful, uplifting folk rock with a message for troubled times. Their latest new album is entitled "Rising from the Bold" which was created at a long weekend in a country house located in Shropshire. Inspired by free flowing ideas, fine food and foaming ales, Welsh whiskey and good company. The results are fabulous: classic folk rock with an upbeat, uplifting feel - songs with serious subjects and a sense of humour.
You are assured of a fantastic night of music and humour. Even though the date is a long way off, you are advised to get your tickets in advance as the concert hall is sure to be packed out on the night.
Venue - is a ground floor large concert hall/lounge with good access for wheelchair users and a licensed bar.
Location - 78 Pensby Road, Heswall, Wirral, Merseyside, CH60 7RF.
