The Nosferatu are a UK gothic rock band formed from the ashes of the original Rise era Nosferatu formed in 1987, playing rousing rock anthems, with thunderous guitars and exquisite symphonic orchestration, combined with booming baritone vocals.
Nosferatu gained attention in the 1990s despite the malaise in the UK press and record industry against gothic rock and eventually established their own label with distribution deals in the UK with Red Rhino/Vital, Germany with EFA and USA/Mexico with Cleopatra. Despite little UK coverage the band scored several Indie Chart Top 20 positions in the UK.
Nosferatu released 5 EPs and 3 albums before originally imploding in 1994.
Since reforming in 2019 The Nosferatu have played many festivals including Wave Gothic Treffen (DE), Castle Party (PL), Amphi (DE), NCN (DE), Stella Nomine (DE), Tomorrows Ghost (UK) and Eutanasia (MX) as well as headline shows in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
The Nosferatu also recently completed a highly successful Latin tour visiting Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile and Brazil to wildly passionate audiences.
The shows in April will be their only UK appearances in 2026.
