Celebrating 21 years in the game, The Nine Ton Peanuts return to the Taproom for more scorching 8-piece live ska, Jamaican boogie, rhythm n blues, soul, rocksteady and reggae.
Their set is almost entirely original compostions by band leader Sir Bald Diddley, whose music has also recently featured in 'Stranger Things' on TV!
Over 21 years The Nine Tons have performed across the UK (100 Club, Jazz Cafe etc.) and Europe, including Freedom Sounds Festival (Germany) and Dance Ska La (France). They have supported The Skatalites and Toots and the Maytals, no less.
Plus long-time cohort and collaborator Count Skylarkin from the top till the very last drop, spinning new and vintage Caribbean vinyl magic.
