We are pleased to welcome Devon based Sound of the Sirens to Harwell Village Hall.
Sound of the Sirens is the acclaimed singer-songwriter duo from Southwest England, known for their multi-instrumental talents, evocative storytelling, and deeply personal songwriting. Comprised of Abbe Wood and Hannah Walker, the duo has built a reputation for their unique blend of folk, pop, and acoustic influences, crafting songs that resonate with sincerity and emotional depth.
Since their formation in 2011, they have carved out a distinct place within the UK acoustic music scene, captivating audiences with their heartfelt lyrics and dynamic musicianship. They have become firm favourites and a big draw at festivals, earning a dedicated following with their passionate performances. Both Abbe and Hannah showcase their versatility by playing a range of instruments, including guitar, piano, mandolin, and percussion, adding depth and texture to their sound.

Description
Harwell Village Hall was opened in the 1930s and since then has been a well-used social centre for the village and surrounding areas.
The hall is the focus of many groups from the village and the surrounding area who meet weekly or monthly in either the Orchard or Cherry Hall for a variety of pursuits including fitness and dance for both young and old, Arts and Crafts, Woodturners, Harwell WI, Short Mat Bowls, various clubs for toddlers and young children such as Fun Club, our youth theatre group Gobo Theatre and the Harwell Parish History Group. It is also the local Polling Station and the Parish Council have an office by the foyer entrance.
