Drawing songs from British and American folk traditions, Jolene Missing?s pure, soulful voice has been compared to some of the classic voices of the folk revival of the 1960s and 70s ? reminiscent of Shirley Collins or Shelagh McDonald. Joe Hymas is best known for his wildfire mandolin playing in rockgrass band Hayseed Dixie, but he is a multi-instrumentalist, equally adept at fingerpicking guitar styles and clawhammer banjo. The trio is completed by bassist Richard Partridge. In the summer of 2025, they played at Ely Folk Festival, Gower Americana & Roots Festival and at the Betsey Trotwood in London. Jolene has released an album called Leaves of Life.
Three ticket prices - We're committed to bringing high quality roots music to Cambridge at affordable prices , and as such our standard advance ticket price is £10. However, if you'd like to see the artist take home a little more (over 80% of our ticket profit goes to artists), then there is now an option to pay slightly more (£12) if you are able to. There are also a very limited number of no-questions-asked concession tickets (£8).
If tickets remain then they will be sold on-the-door, but at a higher price.
