We are enormously pleased to welcome back Belinda O'Hooley to Grewelthorpe Village Hall. She first performed here in 2016 as half of the duo O'Hooley and Tidow, who later became famous for singing the theme tune to the BBC/HBO TV series 'Gentleman Jack'. After 15 years of performing together, eight studio albums, four BBC Folk Award nominations, and hundreds of venues and festivals across the UK and Europe, Belinda is now going temporarily solo whilst Heidi is taking a break to further her education. Belinda is an exceptionally gifted pianist, singer, songwriter, and composer who has become renowned for her highly individual, emotional, yet sensitive musicality. Her set is a mixture of instrumental pieces, her solo songs and some O'Hooley & Tidow songs performed on the piano, accordion, guitar and unaccompanied. She is also a thoroughly nice Yorkshire lass!
