Sunday night at Jamboree with the fantastic Hot Club of Jupiter playing their unique mix of Gypsy swing, hot jazz, New Orleans grooves, Brazilian carnival samba and French surrealism!
The Hot Club of Jupiter was formed to provide the music for the 2013 Renault Clio online ad campaign, which was promptly judged too lewd for public consumption and withdrawn. The band have enjoyed a busy touring and performing schedule and are regulars at both London jazz venues and on the swing dance circuit. Previous highlights include sold outs gigs at London?s Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Dean Street, a BBC Radio 3 live session and a mammoth 8 gigs in 3 days at the Cork Jazz Festival. "Inter-planetary gypsy jazz, hot swing and songs of caddish behaviour".
Jamboree food option: Our ?Zer? kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
