Description
This is Dan's second gig at Second Time Around, almost exactly two years since his first: "back by popular demand" as they say.. Judging by his gig list he is pretty much as in demand all over the country - in fact, the world!
Why would that be? If you've seen Dan before, you'll need no encouragement to get your tickets, knoWing what a treat you have in store. He's a master of his first instrument, the five-string banjo; not to mention that he's a dab hand at the guitar too when he switches to that. His material is amazingly varied, ranging from his own remarkably good songs, through the full range of banjo styles and including Indian ragas. There's something for all tastes but we guess you'll find it's all to your taste by the time Dan's finished both his sets. Do yourself a favour and take this opportunity to experience his unique blend of artistry and enthusiasm.
Th venue is easy to reach by public transport: tram or bus to Beeston Interchange (less than five minutes' walk away) or there's an ample car park.
The Legion has a licensed bar and wheelchair access.
