We’re delighted to be hosting Nadia Reid – Live With Strings at St Michael’s!
Following her latest album Enter Now Brightness (released via Chrysalis in 2025). New Zealand–raised, Manchester-based songwriter Nadia Reid presents three intimate shows featuring old and new songs, re-imagined with a two-piece string ensemble.
Reid reflects: ‘In 2021 some of my songs were arranged by Alex Taylor for violin, piano and cello. It feels special to be digging out those scores and performing with Todmorden-based multi-instrumentalist DBH, and newcomer Josh Horsley from Liverpool on cello.’
These intimate shows are not to be missed. Nadia is currently working on new material for her fifth studio album.
This concert takes place in Hallé at St Michael’s – a former Roman Catholic church, which was founded in 1859 and became the heart of the Little Italy Community in Ancoats.
AGE RESTRICTION: This is a 14+ show. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
PLEASE NOTE: The ticket price includes a £1.20 venue levy.
