Liqueur - A Tribute To The Cure
Formed 15+ years ago by members of various Norwich bands, Liqueur set the bar high in wanting to recreate the sound of The Cure in their prime. A decade and a half down the line with numerous tours and festival appearances under their belt, and such comments as ‘They sound more like The Cure than The Cure!’ Liqueur go from strength to strength, even being name checked by the main man himself.
Passionate lifelong fans, they replicate The Cure’s sound, style, and gear with obsessive detail. Gigging across the UK, they’ve earned praise like “You sound more like The Cure than The Cure!”—and they wouldn’t have it any other way. From pop masterpieces such as Boys Don’t Cry and Just like Heaven, to atmospheric deep cuts from albums such as Disintegration and Seventeen Seconds, there will be something for everyone.
Description
A very iconic Derby public house famed for its range of real ales.
It is also one of Derby's few live music venues.
The building consists of a front room with bar and seating continuing round into the rest of the bar area. There is also a small comfortable seating area in the back bar area with a viewing panel of the pubs stillage.
Free acoustic sessions: Monday 8pm, Wednesday 9pm and Sunday 4pm to 7pm.
Nepalese cuisine 7pm to 9pm every Tuesday.
Children welcome until 9pm
