Within its walls, the former supermarket space has been thoughtfully transformed, retaining an industrial edge while cultivating an inviting atmosphere. The high ceilings and exposed elements speak to its past, yet the adaptable lighting, often casting a warm, focused glow, creates intimate pockets for performance and contemplation. One might notice the cool, smooth texture of concrete underfoot, juxtaposed with the softer, worn surfaces of seating, hinting at countless stories shared within.
Practical considerations are well-addressed, ensuring broad access. The venue is wheelchair friendly, offering accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. Its Station Side Gallery doubles as an accessible bar and event space, while the Sea Side Gallery regularly hosts new exhibitions. Though dining options are not available, visitors are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
