About The Golden Lion

The Golden Lion Hotel, Eatery and Coffee House is a 400 year old grade II listed former coaching inn. It is reportedly haunted by two ghosts.

Now a modern hotel which has been renovated by the new owners, this was completed in July 2017 with the opening of a new bar, restaurant and reception area. The hotel offers 27 rooms all en-suite. The Cromwell Room is available for private functions.
