The Citadel is the no.1 venue for live music, arts and community events in St. Helens

We want your visit to the Citadel as enjoyable as possible. When you arrive at the venue you’ll be greeted by our friendly Box Office staff that will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have.

Our bar is located on the ground floor and is open during events so you can purchase a drink before heading in to the Auditorium to enjoy the evening’s entertainment.

We strive to make the venue as accessible as possible.

Access is on the ground floor with a lift to all floors, accessible toilets on the ground and first floors and wheelchair spaces in the auditorium.

There is free parking available next to the Citadel from 6.00pm, however with only 10 spaces this car park can fill up quickly. Blue badge holders can park in the two designated parking spaces at the front of the Citadel and we have a drop off zone at the front of the venue for ease of access.

Every reasonable measure is taken to ensure that activities and events are accessible for all.
