The Tavern on the Bay is St. David's Park's very own restaurant and bar, popular with both park users and local residents. A gastropub, bridging the gap between an upmarket restaurant and a traditional tavern, the Tavern on the Bay offers a warm and welcoming environment with distinctive decor.

The building was originally a marine cottage constructed in 1924. Over the years the building has changed hands and functions numerous times but it is the latest refurbishment, with an incredible glass extension cost in excess of £700,000 that has lifted it into another league entirely.

The Tavern on the Bay was an idea conceived by St. David’s Park’s current owner, Steve Davies, who also carried out the refurbishment himself. The new fully-glassed frontage and extension wraps around the original building. This provides truly mesmerising 270° panoramic views extending from Benllech Bay, taking in Red Wharf Bay and beyond to the Great Orme in Llandudno. The Tavern is now the place to eat, drink, relax and unwind on the island.
