About Grange Park Bandstand

Venue Type: Public Bandstand

A small, attractive, Grade 2 listed Victorian park in the heart of Grangetown. The gardens were first opened in 1895 and after many years in decline, the site was awarded funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for restoration work which was completed in 2000. The park now boasts a good range of local outdoor recreational facilities but still retains its historic character.

The bandstand was originally installed in 1895 and replaced by a re-cast replica in 2000.

The park is open from 7:30am till 30 minutes before sunset daily.
