The Colliers Arms is situated on the B4287 halfway between Neath and Port Talbot. Pontrhydyfen is well known as the birthplace of the actor Richard Burton, but nowadays it is lucky to be situated in the Afan Forest Park with its many walks and cycle tracks. Glyncorrwg Ponds are a magnet for fishermen and also for cyclists.
