In 1990, before the world had heard of Gazza, 2 chaps from various bands in Reading decided that there was a missing element to Reading life. So they took their youthful good looks and ideas into a Duke Street building, added a nodding turtle out the front, and set about rejuvenating the town with one of the craziest bars in folk law.

Fast forward 24 years, and although now on a new site (after the Oracle knocked down the original building) a spanking new refurbishment that would surprise your eyes and a lot of beer kegs later, they are still creating memories, good times and hangovers for the Reading crowd.
