Tanbridge House School

Tanbridge House School serves as a significant community asset in Horsham, extending its purpose beyond education to function as a versatile hub for local and regional events. Its well-maintained facilities are regularly opened to external organisations, providing a structured yet adaptable environment for a diverse range of gatherings and activities throughout the year. This commitment to broader engagement positions the school as a key resource for the surrounding area.

Within its walls, a sense of purposeful activity pervades, with spaces designed for both learning and assembly. The main hall, for instance, often carries the faint, clean scent of polished wood, hinting at its dual life as both an academic space and a venue for public performance. Robust, functional furnishings throughout the various rooms speak to their capacity to accommodate varied uses, from focused meetings to lively celebrations.

Practical considerations are well-addressed, with a range of facilities available for hire, including extensive grass pitches and an artificial grass pitch, alongside a main sports hall and numerous classrooms. Disability parking is provided, ensuring broader access for attendees. While not a traditional hospitality venue, arrangements for refreshments or catering can be accommodated, supporting the needs of various events.

The calendar at Tanbridge House School sees a steady stream of engagements, from local clubs and classes utilising the sports facilities to larger-scale community meetings and celebratory assemblies. It regularly hosts concerts, dance showcases, and theatrical productions, alongside information evenings and other gatherings that bring together different facets of the Horsham community.
