Bignall End Cricket Club

Bignall End Cricket Club stands as a long-established pillar within its community, serving not merely as a sporting ground but as a vital social nexus for residents of Boon Hill and wider Stoke-on-Trent. With a history stretching over a century, including its 150th anniversary in 2025, it remains a focal point for local cricket leagues and a gathering place that transcends the boundaries of sport.

Within the clubhouse, a welcoming atmosphere prevails, where the murmur of conversation often mingles with the clinking of glasses. The function room, a versatile space, offers splendid views across the Cheshire landscape, particularly evocative as the afternoon light softens.

The venue provides practical amenities, including a dedicated function room with its own private bar, alongside ample outdoor space adjacent to the pitch. Guests can enjoy an ever-changing selection of cask beers, reflecting a commitment to quality local offerings.

Beyond its sporting calendar, the club regularly hosts a diverse array of events, from private celebrations such as milestone birthdays and wedding receptions to community quizzes, live music evenings, and popular beer festivals. It consistently delivers a varied programme for both members and the wider public.
