One of Arkell's and Swindon's newest built pubs, The Jovial Monk opened its doors to the public on 15 November 2000.

Located at St Andrew's Ridge on the Abbey Meads estate, it serves a growing local population in north Swindon.

The pub also offers overnight accommodation, with six bedrooms - all with en-suite facilities.
