Chorley Little Theatre

Chorley Theatre, situated on Dole Lane, stands as a volunteer-operated cultural focal point for the town. Owned by the Chorley Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (CADOS) since 1960, this historic venue, originally an electric cinema from 1910, has evolved into a thriving hub for the performing arts, sustained by local dedication and passion.

Within its Edwardian walls, the main auditorium offers a distinct atmosphere. The hushed anticipation before a performance, the subtle scent of polished wood and aged velvet, and the focused beam of stage lights create an immersive experience.
