About Usher Hall

The Usher Hall stands as Edinburgh's principal concert venue, a distinguished national asset managed by the City of Edinburgh Council. Since its opening in 1914, this Beaux-Arts edifice has served as a cornerstone of the city's cultural landscape, fulfilling its founder Andrew Usher's vision of providing public access to the arts and hosting a continuous stream of significant events.

Within its grand, oval auditorium, the atmosphere is one of refined anticipation, where the rich scent of polished wood subtly permeates the air and the soft glow of ambient lighting highlights the ornate Edwardian classical details.
