Birchington Silver Band

Birchington Silver Band (formerly British Legion Band) has been around since 1934.

The band is a local brass band as well as the official town band of Les Mureaux (France).

We have concerts throughout the year at the local village centre, bandstands and other private events.

Our current Musical Director is Louis Parker-Gorman, who joined in May 2025.

Built in 1895, and refurbished in 2006, the Leas Bandstand stands opposite the Clifton Gardens and next to the Leas Cliff Hall. There isn't a car park, but, street parking is available nearby.
