This group of experienced musicians based near Wisbech (hence the name) brings alive the sounds of Traditional Dixieland Jazz, evoking the atmosphere of paddle steamers on the Mississippi and New Orleans Jazz clubs.

We are usually a six-piece band and we will travel up to about 60 miles.

We play tuneful, foot tapping melodies and we are not too loud - conversation is still possible! You can dance to our music and we are popular with all ages (even very young children!).

The tunes are generally from the 1920s and 30s but also include Gershwin and more modern composers. Examples are:

Indiana, Five Foot Two, Lady be Good, Sweet Lorraine
Up the Lazy River, Honeysuckle Rose, Undecided Now,
Avalon, When You’re Smiling.

The instrumentalists are very experienced musicians and the
line up is usually trumpet, clarinet, tenor sax, string bass,
guitar/banjo and keyboard.

Our trumpet player is also a very gifted vocalist (being Welsh).

We perform for weddings, corporate events, classic car rallies, garden parties, pubs, municipal parks and clubs - anywhere where live foot-tapping music is a must.
