The band was originally formed in 2003 as an offshoot of the Darwen-based Jam Factory. At the launch of the band the promotional material said "open to all and any who consider themselves nervously or otherwise as musicians ..... expect improvising, and much groovesome fun"

This still applies today and the "groovesome fun" comes in big doses. It offers musicians of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience the buzz of live music.

We play a number of gigs every year, a mix of local fetes, festivals, pubs (although as there's about 25 of us, they need to be fairly big pubs...) or, quite frankly, anything anyone offers us. We just love playing to anyone who'll listen.

There is no particular age limit, or ability, and we certainly don't audition. However nervous you are about playing, everyone else was there once. Come on down. You never know where it'll lead.
