Nishla is an Australian jazz singer/songwriter, now based in Manchester. In January this year, she performed as part of MONA's Summer Jazz Festival in Australia, before returning to the UK to revive her self-devised show 'Cabaret: A Show About The End Of Love' with string quartet Manchester Collective for the PUSH festival. She is an artist for Sofar Sounds in Manchester and London, and has performed her originals live on BBC's Intune. In March 2018, Nishla became one of the Manchester Jazz Festival's Hothouse talent development artists. She will be performing an original set at the festival in July, before beginning a summer residency at Sage Gateshead in August. Nishla is working on a debut record.
