Oldham based lyric Soprano, Elizabeth Phillips, is best known for her clear, yet rich sound. Her incredibly emotive performances ensure that she is a huge hit with audiences throughout the North West. Under the outstanding tutorship of Caroline Crawshaw, Elizabeth is a truly versatile singer, performing in a number of styles including Opera, Operetta, Oratorio, Musicals, Big Band and Pop. Prestigious events are her forte; Elizabeth has performed at the BBC Last Night of the Proms, PRIDE Proms in the Park and the Christmas Lights ceremony in Albert Square, Manchester, in front of 10,000 people. Furthermore, she sang Madame Butterfly at the inaugural Manchester International Festival.
Having appeared on various TV programmes, including My Favourite Hymns and Stars in Their Eyes, Elizabeth is also no stranger to TV. She also reached the final in the Classic FM ‘Search for an Angel’ competition.
