BLACKBIRD are a Hard Rock and Metal band born from Gloucestershire, currently booking gigs around the UK, ready to make their mark.

Formed in the Summer of 2018 by frontman Jet, guitarists Buckley and Rich “Ditto” Walter, and bassist Stinger. The four began writing material based on their varied interests, incorporating other styles such as funk and rap into their music.

As time passed, BLACKBIRD were ready to share their new sound with the world, but were lacking a drummer - enter Ben Lawson, the Lefty-from-Abergavenny, who's signature style enhanced the sound which the band were seeking.

The band’s influences include artists such as Stone Sour, Alter Bridge, Five Finger Death Punch, Santa Cruz, The Cult Classics, Architects and Skindred.

With the release of their first single “Landslide” and their debut show in December 2018, BLACKBIRD were honoured to have been listed on 50 Below Promotion’s “50 Below The Radar” list for 2018, an exceptional achievement for the band.
