We are a non-contesting band based in the market town of Ross-on-Wye. Our aim is to provide entertainment for the people in and around the town of Ross.

New players are always welcome in all sections, and if you have ever dreamt of playing a musical instrument, we have a very active training band, where everyone is welcome, and we will teach you all you need to know and even lend you an instrument!

We meet every Friday for friendly rehearsals.

The Band was formed in 1924 and thrived in the pre-war years and competed at both Crystal Palace and Alexandria Palace. After a break for WWll the band reformed in 1947, the band prospered until the late 1970’s when it once again disbanded, but only for a short time, in 1984 a public meeting was held to see if the band could be reformed, and in January the following year the new band started rehearsing with just 13 players we have gone from strength to strength since then.
