Based in West Kent, Bacchus concentrates on music that has been originally written for or arranged for symphonic wind orchestra, as opposed to straightforward transcriptions.

Formerly known as Bacchus Wind Band, we renamed ourselves as Bacchus Wind Orchestra, in recognition of the repertoire that we play, and the style of concerts that we perform.

We generally give formal indoor concerts during the autumn and spring months, and then perform in bandstands throughout the South East of England during the summer.

We welcome anyone who plays a relevant instrument at Grade 7 or 8 or above to contact us if they wish to join us.
