About Uttoxeter Brass Band
Uttoxeter Town Brass Band was reformed as a community band in 1996 in memory of the late Alan Booth, a local peripatetic teacher of the area. We are a self funding community brass band welcoming players of all ages and abilities. Through concerts & other engagements we aim to entertain, educate and encourage people in all communities to participate and enjoy.
We have been fortunate in the past to have received financial help and support from the local council, in particular councillor Geoff Morrison, The Staffordshire County Council, The Staffordshire Local Community Fund and the Staffordshire Community Foundation.
We rehearse every Tuesday Evening: The Dove Church, Stone Road, Uttoxeter, ST14 7QW.
The band is always on the look out for new players and is especially keen to encourage beginners to take up a brass instrument, which can be supplied by the band.
We don't currently have any future gigs listed for Uttoxeter Brass Band.
