There are 5 bands in the Royal Marines Band Service, based at different locations around the UK.

As well as brilliant musicians they are also prepared for action. When the time comes, Royal Navy Band Service personnel are ready to put their instruments down and join military operations.

Whether it’s supporting a medical team on board a casualty-receiving ship or getting vital supplies to the front line, their military role is just as vital as the musical one.
