Live Performance
60's Onwards
The Backbeats have been performing live music for 28 years - and we play 100% live (no backing tracks).
All members have without exception played their respective instruments since childhood !!
The common denominator is our collective love of sixties music
We play hits by the Beatles, the Stones, the Kinks, The Dave Clark Five and many, many more.
Sixties music is as much loved today as at any time in the past.
Hire The Backbeats and let us take you back to the golden era…
Family friendly festival, featuring 14 Bands and 10 Artists on 2 Stages.
Raising money for The Pendleside Hospice.
It was spawned from an idea when representatives from the club (Brierfield WMC) met up with Phil Schofield from Bands & Venues Burnley & Pendle and discussed the possibility of arranging a fundraiser for Pendleside Hospice, something the club had done before but had wanted to make bigger and better.
After mulling over the idea, a date was picked for the May bank holiday weekend and Phil put feelers out to see what bands and artistes would support this event. Initially this was only going to be a one day event but the response was so huge that it was decided to make this into a two day extravaganza.
Bands and artists include Buckshots, Critical Reaction, Quick Fix, Overload, Covered in Punk, Losing Touch, plus many more. It's sure to be a fantastic event and all funds raised are going directly to Pendleside.
Both Day Tickets, £8 in advance or £10 on the door.
Single Day Tickets, £5 on advance or £6 on the door.
Advance tickets are available from Brierfield WMC, The Commercial, Harle Syke and the butty van "Travel n Bite" in the B&Q car park.
