Our band has a proud history and our heritage stems from the former local coal mine. We pride ourselves on our high standard of performance and the ability to play a wide range of music to suit all tastes and occasions. We love to give concerts and have strong links with local churches and other organisations. We are available for village fetes, weddings, more formal occasions or even in smaller groups if required. At Christmas we can be seen practically everywhere playing traditional carols and popular Christmas music. On Remembrance Day we are out in force to honour our service personnel.
