Macbeth, driven to murder by ambition, must now navigate his path to greatness, amidst his unsettled friends and vengeful foes, and the supernatural influences that guide his every step.​



Wise + Wayward Theatre’s interpretation of Shakespeare’s tale of ambition and betrayal uses the original text, mixed with elements of text from the North Berwick witch trials (as described in James I’s Daemonologie).



This production is supported by Stroud Shakespeare Festival and is the first resident company at the Tetbury Goods Shed.



Brought to life with live music, and a cast of 8 actors, this is the perfect production for a cold winter’s night.

Description

Our vision is for The Goods Shed to become a regional centre of artistic excellence in the Cotswolds. The Shed provides arts and entertainment in an iconic building that doubles as a community hub.

We have a wide range of events happening every week including theatre, live music of all genres, cinema, dance and children's entertainment as well as a variety of art exhibitions throughout the year.
