New Buckenham Silver Band is a village band based in South Norfolk.
In 1887, to mark Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, a small village band was formed and has continued ever since. New Buckenham 'Imperial' Band is now one of the oldest bands in East Anglia, and proudly celebrated it's 130th Anniversary in 2017.
We rehearse every Thursday night from 8 until 9:45pm in New Buckenham Village Hall, and we warmly welcome anyone playing a brass instrument or percussion to come along and join us.

Tommy Winser Memorial Concert 23rd April 2023
An Open Invitation
New Buckenham Silver band will be putting on a memorial concert on the 23rd April at 15:00 in New Buckenham Village Hall to celebrate the life of our former President, band master and band member of 78 years, Tommy Winser.
We would be very pleased to see you at this free event and would be absolutely delighted to welcome any brass players (and percussionists) who knew Tommy, in whatever capacity, to join with us and his family in celebrating his life through an afternoon festival of music.
If this is of interest and you would like to be involved in a playing capacity on the day please get in touch asap so that we can plan rehearsals and ensure that the day is as good as Tommy – and his family – deserve for a lifetime of dedication to New Buckenham Silver Band and to brass band music in our area.
