Solstice At The Mount

The Mount's Opening Ceremony will take place on the evening of Summer Solstice on 21st June 2023. A moment that takes place at the same time everywhere on the planet the Solstice connects everyone in a truly global moment.







XAVIER RUDD



Australian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd the incredible one-man band performs his intoxicating blend of folk blues and reggae supporting social consciousness environmental issues and Aboriginal rights. This is a rare performance from the highly regarded artist perfectly suited to the launch of the space.







THE YAWANAWA



Chief Nixiwaka and the Yawanawa the indigenous Amazonian tribe were the original inspiration for bringing Medicine to Wasing. Their close affinity to the land at Wasing brings the sharing of ancestral wisdom song prayer and a deep connection to nature.



Chief Nixiwaka is one of the most significant indigenous leaders of our time. He has dedicated his life to reclaiming his people’s ancient culture and spirituality and is a true visionary for what he describes as a new humanity for a better world.







SATISH KUMAR



Satish Kumar lifelong activist and peace pilgrim known for his 8000-mile peace walk taking in all the capital cities of nuclear armed countries insists that reverence for nature should be at the heart of every political and social debate will share wisdoms of the connection between people and planet.







MEDICINE FESTIVAL PRESENTS THE FIRESIDE SESSIONS



Our friends at Medicine Festival have developed the most beautiful space for the Fireside Sessions in Wasing’s Sacred Glade and we are truly honoured that Danit and Nessi Gomes will be coming together to play a magical two hour set around the fire. If you've been to the Fireside concerts at Medicine Festival you will know what a powerful and rare experience this is.

Ticket Option 1 - Solstice At The Mount (The Opening Ceremony)



This ticket is for The Opening Ceremony from 5pm - 11pm and provides access to the ceremony and concert featuring Xavier Rudd & special guests The Yawanawa & Satish Kumar. This includes access to the woodland trail & Food Glade.

Ticket Option 2 - Solstice At The Mount (The Opening Ceremony The Fireside Sessions Camping & Morning Ceremony)



This ticket is for The Opening Ceremony from 5pm - 11pm featuring Xavier Rudd & special guests The Yawanawa & Satish Kumar. It also includes The Fireside Sessions from 11pm - 1am on 22nd June presented by Medicine Festival and featuring Danit & Nessi Gomes. It also includes camping overnight with early access to the camp site from 3pm on 21st and access to the woodland trail and Food Glade during the Opening Ceremony. This ticket also enables access to The Morning Ceremony at 3.55am and woodland breakfast on the morning of 22nd.
