Brother Bastion is a Folk-punk singer and guitarist from Blackburn, Lancs
His original songs are based on his observations of growing up in a working class town, and the social and political aspects that come with that.
Rest assured, his music has something for everyone, and although he ain't shy to throw a cover songs or two into a set, he manages to make them his own.
Influenced by The Pogues, Dead Kennedys, Johnny Cash, Motorhead and The Clash to name a few; his lyrics are often brutally honest but delivered with an acerbic wit.
As a live performer, he is a truly incendiary act to behold, creating enough energy and sound from one guitar and a bass drum than many full bands struggle to achieve.
Special Guest Spot at the legendary Bacup Folk Club, open mic spots either side of my set.
