The Roy Bailey Big Band was formed over 30 years ago in Goring, South Oxfordshire and plays a variety of music; ranging from the Big Band classics of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie to more recent arrangements.
The band is formed from local musicians representative of both youth and experience and we are always delighted to receive enquiries from anyone who might be interested in joining us, either regularly, or to form part of the Roy Bailey Band extended family. We all share one thing - a love of performing great music - and which we strive to do to the best of our abilities.
Mill Meadows is a large riverside recreational area that includes a fantastic new toddler play area as well as an older childrens' playground and acres of open space and a wildlife walk, and the riverside towpath to March Lock.
