Angela Hewitt
The second of two performances of J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations at Swaledale Festival this year - this time on the piano. Canadian-born pianist Angela Hewitt has made Bach’s music the cornerstone of her stellar career. Her expressive artistry, flawless technique and beauty of tone make her a compelling player of the highest order.
The concert will comprise a short talk by Ms. Hewitt (approx. 8 minutes), and then an uninterupted performance of Goldberg Variations, so there won't be an interval.
