Having appeared as the wedding singer for "Chardonnay and Kyle" in ITV1's cult drama "Footballers' Wives" singing "Wind Beneath My Wings", life imitated art in bizarre fashion when Suzi went on to sing for real footballer's wife: Victoria Beckham and her husband David.

The booking turned out to be for the christening of David and Victoria's two boys Brooklyn and Romeo at their home and her warm up act was none other than Elton John! She sang for Elizabeth Hurley and the gorgeous Darius as well as the former Spice Girls and numerous other notable celebrities. Alongside her appeared Stephen Triffitt of "Rat Pack" fame with whom Suzi has sung on many corporate and grand occasions including the launch of Royal Caribbean's Flag Ship "Freedom of The Seas" in April 2006. Since then she has performed twice for leading Fashion Impressario, Valentino: first in Rome supporting Annie Lennox and then at Blenheim Palace on the occasion of the wedding of Tim Jefferies to Malin Johansson (See Gallery).

In a previous life (around the early '90s), Suzi toured the UK with Jools Holland and His Swing Orchestra as one half of Original Duo "Building Rome". She and then partner, Vic Saul, then spent a week with him in his studio recording a 4 track EP. One of the resultant tracks, "Relentless" features both Jools and his Brass Section, who kindly gave their immense talent to the project free of charge.

Suzi can be a self contained solo performer with her own Mackie PA (SRM450s and CFX12 mixer) plus lighting (8 par cans) and backdrop. Alternatively she can provide musicians ranging from a trio to an eighteen piece swing orchestra.

With full glamour evening dresses in '50s Hollywood style that reflect her influences from Peggy Lee to Shirley Bassey, Suzi represents Sass and Sensuality!! Her repertoire draws from the American Songbook and Movie Musicals of the day to modern day classics.

Being one of Birmingham’s best attractions, The Birmingham Botanical Gardens offers something for everyone, be it one of our four stunning glasshouses showing tropical rainforest to arid desert, beautiful gardens, playground, tearoom or our gift shop.

The Main Lawn is an amphitheatre, with its axis running roughly south-west from the Terrace to the Bandstand. This acts as a sun trap and the higher ground behind cuts off the cold northerly winds, so the Lawn is a popular spot for sunbathing and picnics in fine weather. The grass gets favoured treatment to keep the turf in the fine springy condition which makes it such a pleasure to walk on and a joy to behold from the Terrace.

The Bandstand is surrounded by colourful summer and winter bedding displays, in keeping with the period of its creation. On the far side of the Bandstand is the fountain, and the planting areas around the fountain have been enriched with shrubs for all seasons, including Peonies, Abelias, Camellias and Hydrangeas.
