The Ship Profile Pic

Description

The Ship is well known landmark at The Mount , Eighton Banks. Nearby historical landmarks include Shadons Hill, an old battlefield site in which William the Conqueror fought in 1068! Blackim Hill lies to the rear, and the Bowes Railway runs alongside.

We have 4 cask ales on permanently. One is a favourite “Old Golden Hen ” which is more or less permanent. The other 3 change on a ratational basis to bring different brews from around the country. We also have a ” Craft Beer” on tap , which is Brooklyn at the moment. The permanent lagers are Fosters and Carling, with Stella, St. Miguel and Moretti on the premium side. Add 2 ciders, 2 beers and Guinness , quite a choice. Being a destination pub, apart from the standard soft drinks, we carry a range of specialites. These include Erdinger. Kopparberg cider, St. Miguel and Brewdog Nanny State non acoholic bottles.

We hope to see you soon…
