Progressive Death Metal
FRACTAL UNIVERSE is a Progressive Death Metal Band from Nancy, France, founded in 2014.
The band released its first EP "Boundaries of Reality" in February 2015, in support of which they performed about 40 shows, through western Europe, opening for bands such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Exodus and Monuments, and performing on Motocultor Festval's Mainstage.
With the release of their first full lenght "Engram of Decline" in April 2017 via Kolony Records, Fractal Universe got strong exposure in international press (Terrorizer, Rock Tribune, Rock Hard,…), and has had several videos premiered by notorious webzines such as Metal Injection, SickDrummer or Gear Gods.
Shortly after, the band started a touring cycle with over 30 shows in 10 countries throughout 2017, including appearances at MetalDays and Impetus Festival.
In 2018, Fractal Universe, among others, announced their 1st UK Tour, as well as several festival shows (Durbuy Rock Festival, FIMU, Rock Metal Camp Fest,...).
In addition, the band is now about to hit the studio again, to record its second full length, scheduled for 2019.
This venue is no stranger to live music acts and since opening nearly 4 years ago The Dragonffli has attracted attention from bands all over the Uk and as far the states. The venue remains dedicated to the continuous support for original artists in the music industry and the future holds much more so don’t miss out on something great!
