Description

The Blue Road are all about a journey from past to present and beyond. Firmly rooted in the blues, we take classic songs and twist them to add a little spice...that touch of something that makes us different from the rest. We cover songs by most of the well-known blues/rock artists, and some not so well known. Throw funky blues originals into the melting pot and there you have it, a power trio not afraid to veer off the well beaten track. Think of Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Matt Schofield, Richie Kotzen, BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Muddy Waters and Hendrix all simmering away in that pot waiting to be served.

Between us have had the pleasure of sharing stages with Wishbone Ash, Marillion, Average White Band, Sam Kelly's Station House, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Larry Miller and many more. We play theatres, pubs, clubs, private parties, festivals.

The Prince Of Wales Profile Pic

Description

Herefordshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2013, the Prince has to be the complete package as traditional town pubs go. A 16th century timber-framed building boasts two much-altered bars; the front one sub-divided into two discreet areas, one off to the side which hosts regular live music (folk sessions each Wed eve, bands Sun 4pm and occasionally Thu eve). This is a true community venue, bustling with locals and tourists alike, where a warm welcome is always assured. Honest and good-value food includes a popular Sunday roast. An extensive range of foreign and craft beers - on draught, in bottles and in cans.
