Wind Band
A friendly, progressive and go-ahead local band.
Regular concerts performing very varied programmes.
The band was formed in 1980. Many musicians have come and gone over the years, young people moving on to the Services, University or new Careers; some of our older members retiring and others we sadly lost.
We are made up of members of all ages 15-85 who are Ex-Professional or Amateur musicians.
We perform regular concerts at the Pavilion-On-Sands, Viking Bay, Broadstairs, a wonderful venue and setting for a Sunday night concert of popular music from films/shows and a pot pourri of incidental music.
We rehearse at the St Georges School, Broadstairs Monday and Friday evenings 7:30 - 9:30
A wonderful Broadstairs seaside venue for weddings, functions, parties. Or if you don't have anything planned a great place to enjoy food and drink beside the sea. Come and find us on Broadstairs seafront, enjoy a hot or cold drink, some food and the wonderful views over Viking Bay.
