Description

Burton Concert Band is a Midlands-based wind band, comprised of experienced musicians from Burton-upon-Trent, Derby, and surrounding areas.

The band enjoys a busy performing schedule, with regular appearances at venues such as Chatsworth House, The National Memorial Arboretum and Birmingham Botanical Gardens, alongside concerts featuring guest soloists and private and community functions.

2023 marks 30 years since the band was founded by David Haines and a group of like-minded musicians local to Burton Upon Trent. Today, the band enjoys a busy calendar of rehearsals, performances, social events and tours to look forward to.

Description

Traditional, dog friendly, village pub, set in the heart of Donisthorpe.

The building is one of the three oldest buildings in the village and dates back hundreds of years.

Having recently been refurbished to a high standard, the Halfway House now comprises of a wood burning fire, beamed ceilings, public bar, lounge bar and a separate dining room.

Home made Food served Tuesday to Saturday. Four guest beers with over 80% from a 20 mile radius.
