Almost 21 years have now passed since The Sandringham Hotel became the mecca for live jazz performances in Cardiff.
On Wednesday 29th November 1995 the FOUR BARS INN at SANDYS was opened. Since that day, this welcoming city centre bar and restaurant, now trading as CAFÉ JAZZ, has played host to a multitude of fine musicians from across the globe.

Some of the consummate British musicians that have graced our stage include Peter King, Stan Tracey, Clarke Tracy, Stan Sulzmann, Dave Cliff, John Horler, Martin Speake Keith Tippett, Henry Lowther, Julian Seigal, Jeff Clyne, Nick Weldon, Marc Lockheart, Seb Rochford, Andy Panayi, Esmond Selwyn, John Critcheson, Alec Dankworth, John Parracelli, Tom Cawley, Jamie Cullam, Geoff Eales, Steve Waterman, Hamilton Loomis and so many more great musicians.
