Mod Revival, Punk, Ska
Chequered Past are an energetic 5-piece mod, ska, punk and new wave band based in Yorkshire. We cover all the classics by The Jam, Bad Manners, Madness, The Specials, The Lambrettas and The Stranglers to name a few. We like to pogo a bit so we also play songs by the Dead Kennedys, The Undertones and the Sex Pistols!
Home of FEVA, An annual festival which has been held in Knaresborough since 1996 when the Knaresborough Festival was founded.
In 2001 a new group of volunteers came on board and the annual event was renamed FEVA.
Today FEVA has become a fully fledged festival, run for the community by the community. It attracts many visitors to Knaresborough, giving a welcome boost to many businesses. As a not-for profit organisation FEVA is always interested to hear from people who want to get involved.

This year ‘Picnic’ coincides with the Lions Beer Festival inside Knaresborough House.
This event always happens regardless of weather (unless its gale force winds and we are likely to lose the stage!), so come and bring all the family. Bring your own picnic, chairs, brollies and sun screen.
