Description

2nd Section Band.

Formed in 1965, City of Coventry Brass has been known as 'Coventry School of Music Band', and 'Coventry Centre for the Performing Arts Band'. The band has a wide repertoire, and has toured the UK and Europe extensively, playing in concerts, radio and TV broadcasts, and competing at National and European level.

Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7.45 pm at Bablake School Coundon Road Coventry CV1 4AU.

Description

This park forms an oasis of open land amid the hustle and bustle of shops and factories on Holbrook Lane.

The park has :-
An enclosed children's play area
Five football pitches
Double skatebowl
and a
Annual community festival.

The park opening hours vary throughout the year as follows...
April - 9:30am* to 6:25pm
May - 9:30am* to 7:00pm
June - July 9:30am* to 8:00pm
August - 9:30am* to 6:25pm
September - 9:30am* to 5:25pm
October - March 9:30am* to 3:30pm (3pm on Wednesdays)

*The park gates are opened between 8:30am and 9:30am.

Outside of these times the gates will be locked.
