Description

Bristol Concert Wind Band is a well-established, friendly community wind band which has been active in Bristol for over 35 years. We perform regularly at venues throughout Bristol and the surrounding area, holding both formal and informal concerts as well as park gigs in the summer.

The BCWB family is made up of many bands and groups. We cater for advanced players in the Concert Band, intermediate and improving players in Blown Away! and Winds of Change, and also run learner courses for complete beginners.

Our primary aim to provide opportunities for adults to learn, perform and enjoy playing wind music together in Bristol whatever their experience, ability or background. We believe that learning and playing a musical instrument is a hugely rewarding experience, both on a personal and social level, and should be available to all.

Description

Keynsham Memorial Park (KMP) lies along the line of the Chew River just east of Keynsham High Street and encompasses 10.7 hectares (26 and a half acres). It contains wooded areas, water habitats and grassy vistas.
